Metric Builders then build a no-commitment proposal that maximizes your budget and space,  using our expertise to save you time and money.  We take the guesswork out of budgets that require multiple trades with a clear proposal that outlines costs, estimated timeline, and materials used. We help you to understand the detailed breakdown of the estimates, the projected timeline to complete your project, and our responsibility.

On your approval of the budget & proposal, we create a contact that outlines the construction plan, deliverables and timelines, and the fee schedule. Upon your commitment to the contract, we source and project manage all skilled trades, licenses, materials and timelines to complete the project. Many of our clients also choose to reduce complexity of their project by having Metric Builders manage the relationship and work directly with their architect or designer. 

We want you to have the best, which is why we provide a team of expert trades that specialize in your project needs, such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, framing, or landscaping - we have you covered from concrete to shingles, with a member of the Metric Builders team supervising the work of the expert trades every step of the way. 

We remain committed to your approved budget and timeline and we work collaboratively with you throughout your project. When our clients see what’s possible, they sometimes find themselves wishing to modify or expand their initial plan. In those instances, we remain flexible and build towards your vision by expanding the scope, which includes an updated quote & timeline for your approval.  We pride ourselves in finding solutions and pairing them with expert design. Our residential building clients look to better utilize their home or investment property through a remodel or a renovation, with upgrades such as kitchen, bathroom, flooring, plumbing or electrical, waterproofing, or changing the layout of your space like removing structural or partition walls. 

Some have expanded their homes with an addition of a level, finishing or deepening a basement, adding a laneway house or creating a better outdoor space with a deck or fence. Others chose to start from the ground up, building a new home.

Metric Builders works with restaurant owners, developers, real estate developers, small business owners, event and conference organizers, and clients with corporate leases to change the design of an existing space or build new construction, adhering to Ontario Building Codes.
